Medan (Unimed) – State University of Medan receives Academic visit of Universitas Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Melaka Malaysia Substation in the Meeting Room A 3rd Floor of Rectorate Building, Monday, February 26, 2018. Visits received by Vice Rector IV Prof. Manihar Situmorang, M.Sc., Ph.D., Public Relation Officer M. Surip S.Pd., M.Si, Head of International Affairs Office (KUI) Maya Oktora, M.Hum, Staff of Vice Rector IV for cooperation and students of Malaysia who studied at Unimed.
During this visit UiTM entourage brought 23 students from the Faculty of Arts and Design UiTM Melaka with details of 20 students and 3 lecturers. The UITM troupe that came was chaired by Puan Wan Nor Ayuni Wan Mohd Zain as the UiTM Melaka Program Synchronist accompanied by Puan Farihan Zahri as the Head of UiTM Melaka Project Project, and Pensyarah UiTM Melaka Cik Aidah Alias, Encik Meor Hasmadi Meor Hamzah and Encik Mohd. Hanif Mohd Omar.
Public Relation Officer M. Surip who represented the Vice Rector IV expressed his gratitude for the academic visit from UiTM Melaka Substation to Unimed campus. “We are very happy to visit by UiTM. Hopefully with this visit brings blessing and good for both sides “said M. Surip.
“Hopefully the students who come happy during his visit at Unimed and hopefully in the future we can visit UiTM in the future. You can visit Unimed facilities like Unimed Digital Library’s best library where everything is based on technology / digital and also we hope future Unimed can do credit transfer program with UiTM Melaka “said M. Surip.
UiTM Representative Wan Wan Ayuni Wan Mohd Zain said thanks to Unimed who has been willing to accept UiTM group visit. He said that in this visit before going to Unimed they went to Meseum Rahmad Galery to collaborate in making wild life exhibition. He also said his visit to Unimed is in order to collaborate in making art exhibitions and research.
According to Puan Wan Nor Ayuni with a visit to Unimed can give spare for UiTM students to find out how the learning system in Unimed especially fine arts and also in the future he also hopes to make the program of credit transfer / exchange student with Unimed party.
After the welcoming ceremony by the Public Relation Officer and Head of KUI Unimed, the event was followed by a question and answer session between UiTM with Unimed and Malaysian students who enrolled at Unimed. Questions are outlined on Unimed. After that the event ended with the handover of souvenirs and photos with the Vice Rector IV and continued by bringing the UiTM group to the art gallery Unimed guided by the Head of KUI.
