MEDAN (Unimed) – Unimed received a visit from Unifield International College Malaysia on Monday, September 26, 2017 with the aim of offering cooperation in graduate improvement, in order to continue undergraduate education at Unimed. The visit was immediately received by Rector Unimed Prof. Dr. Syawal Gultom, M.Pd, accompanied by Vice Rector II Dr. Restu, MS, Vice Rector III Prof. Dr. Ir. Dr. Sahat Siagian, M.Pd, Vice Rector IV Prof. Drs. Manihar Situmorang, M.Sc. Ph.D and Head of BPKS-HUMAS Yon Rinaldi, S.E., M.Si. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the rector.
UI leaders attending Unimed were Mohd Musa Yusof (Head of Islamic Education Program), Cik Nurul Hidayah Rahmat (Head of Center for Development and Quality), Puan Nabilah Amin (Executive Vice Chairman), Puan Rohana Rahmat (Executive Chairman) Encik Mohd Asyraf bin Amin (Steering) and Encik Mohd Abrar bin Amin (Steering).
Unifield International College is a campus of D3 Higher Education Institution having its address at Negeri Sembilan Malaysia. This college is a D3 program and has been working with UTM, UiTM, UM, SKM under the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources.
Through this visit UIC Malaysia will offer serious seraca cooperation so that in the near future the alumni can continue their study in Unimed S1, because UIC graduates are D3 education.
Ustaz Mohd Musa Yusof, the meeting said the intention and desire that Unimed leadership can cooperate and accept our proposal that UIC graduates of UIC Malaysia can continue the S1 degree in Unimed. We are very proud and grateful if our expectations are approved by Unimed leaders. If it goes well, next semester we will coordinate with the alumni to offer further study for credit transfer to Unimed.
Puan Rohana Rahmat convey the purpose of his arrival to Unimed, UIC bersilatmi and visit in order to explore cooperation to pergurua high in Indonesia. Medan is one of them. “As the best university in North Sumatra with A accreditation, we chose Unimed to cooperate”.
Prof. Dr. Syawal Gultom welcomed the arrival of UIC, “hopefully later can cooperate in improving the quality of graduates and education in each college,” he said. (Unimed Public Relations)
