Students of Informatics and Computer Technology Education (PTIK) FT Unimed made achievements in the national competition Indonesian Student & Lecturer Competition 2020. Five products from industrial engineering project assignments (smt 6) namely 4 multimedia products and 1 robotic control product managed to all get recognition, namely 2 gold medals 2 silver medals and 1 bronze. The acquisition of 2 gold medals is Multimedia Education Facing Covid19 a.n Ruslan Agung Gumelar; and Computer Peripheral Multimedia Application, a.n Dimas Halim Pratama; 1 silver medal is Multi Interactive media for Graphic Design Learning, a.n Muhammad Faris Muhadryan and 1 bronze namely Multimedia Based Computer Engineering Teaching Media a.n Muhammad Farhan Syahputra. While the silver medal in the field of robotics was obtained by a.n student Muhammad Amin Rais, with the product Full Robot Self Balancing.
Head of PTIK FT Unimed Study Program, Drs. Sriadhi, ST., M.Pd., M.Kom., Ph.D committed, motivated and helped guide the project along with other lecturers expressed their excitement over the results of the ISLC 2020 competition. He congratulated all students, especially those who have been awarded medals in the ISLC 2020 national competition in June – July, and other achievements, namely 3 student articles already published in national journals. Thank you to the lecturers who have helped guide the achievements of these students. Although PTIK is only 3 years old, but students have been directed to various academic achievements, in accordance with the PTIK Study Program through the development of the PTIK Student Learning Community and alhamdulillah has obtained good achievements. Thank you also to the leaders of JPTE, FT and Rectorate Unimed who have supported this achievement effort. Hopefully the next achievement will continue to be obtained with better results in the future.
Dean of FT Unimed Prof. Dr. Harun Sitompul, M.Pd. in his office said, we ft leaders are very grateful for the proud prestige for the academic community of FT Unimed, because we know that this PTIK Study Program is only 3 years old as long as it stands, but today it has managed to carve out achievements in the national competition Indonesian Student & Lecturer Competition 2020 in the category of Multimedia Learning. Of course this achievement is very proud of our great family Unimed. Hopefully this prestasi be a cemeti for all FT Unimed students to continue in the race to pursue the presasi. Rest assured if we are serious, earnest and there is a willingness to progress, I am sure wherever and in any form of achievement we will gain.
